ErmChat has no accounts of its own, no ads and no analytics. I don't collect data about you.

Services the app talks to

To work, the app connects directly to:

• Twitch, for chat, login and the stream player
• 7TV, BTTV and FFZ, for emotes and badges
• recent-messages (robotty.de, zneix.eu), for chat from before you opened a channel
• Chatterino, DankChat, Chatsen and Limerino, for their badges
• kappa.lol, only when you upload a picture

These services see your IP address, and some see which channels you open. Each has its own privacy policy.

Bug reports

Nothing is sent unless you send a report. A report includes what you write and, if "Include diagnostics" is on, your app version, device, settings and a recent performance log, which you can read before sending. Reports are posted publicly as issues on GitHub (github.com/banan-guh/ErmChat/issues) and in the ErmChat Discord, along with your Twitch username. If you want a report removed, email me.
